Hi, I’m Najauh, but most people know me as Hazel. I’m a freelance photographer, proud to be a Black-owned creative, and I’ve been in love with photography since the moment I picked up my first camera back in my junior year of high school.

When I moved to Philadelphia in 2013, I knew this wasn’t just a hobby. It was my passion and my future. I went on to earn my Associates Degree in Photographic Imaging, and since then I’ve been building a career around capturing moments that matter.

While I specialize in portraits and events, my first love has always been street photography. I’m endlessly inspired by architecture, landscapes, nature, animals, and those little peculiar details most people overlook. Photography is how I tell stories — whether it’s through the face of a person, the energy of an event, or the rhythm of a city street.

Beyond the camera, I’m also deeply connected to the art community. I curate and host multifaceted art events throughout the year, bringing together creatives from all walks of life. For me, photography isn’t just about pictures, it’s about culture, connection, and expression.

Originally from Paterson, New Jersey, and now rooted in Philly, I’m here to create visuals that feel alive, honest, and unforgettable.
